The Screen Webshop is suitable for ordering fixed items, POD items, variable documents. For variable documents there is a choice between form based documents, free design documents and PDF upload.

End user experience:
The interface of Screen Webshop can be easily edited to your Corporate Identity. The end-user will see an attractive and easy to understand, intuitive interface.

With home page editing and shortcuts to fast movers they will find the required product in a few steps.

The product page is powerful with many options to assemble the exact product the customer need.

When a registered user comes back, he will find the last orders but also the last variable documents that were generated before. These documents can be re-ordered as is, but also edited again. In this way customers keep coming back.

There is a choice of payment methods, both online and offline, with different providers.

Management of Screen Webshop is easy to learn and no HTML or scripting knowledge is required. All management is done via de browser, both Windows and Mac. Tasks can be done by different people with different credentials.

Screen Europe is pleased to announce the launch of EQUIOS Online. This new system adds a range of next-generation functions to Screen’s online proofing/approval software and links with Screen Trueflow SE, one of the print industry’s most innovative workflow systems.

With the successful release of the Apple iPad® and other tablet computers, the market for this type of device has grown significantly. As a result, the media and publishing industries are increasingly providing digital media formats, such as e-books.

EQUIOS Online features new data creation functions that can be applied to the proofed/approved data for e-books in much the same way as for paper media. This does not just apply to e-book content taken from standard books, but also enables the development of digital content for mail order catalogues and flyers. As a result, the new system is expected to make a significant contribution to the creation of a high value-added business that leverages features only available with digital media.

EQUIOS Online also offers key improvements in operability. Its Book View function enables finished printed materials to be checked in page turner mode on Macintosh® and Windows® PCs, as well as iPad devices. Additionally, the adoption of HTML5* has allowed the Graphic user interface (GUI) to be completely redesigned. In this way, EQUIOS Online enables the utilisation of proofed data in a CtP workflow, supporting the production of e-books.

The HQ RIP Version 8.3 now supports the PT-R8900Z and PT-R8900E/S. For E/S models, the high resolution option has two functions which are 4000dpi output and Lenticular output. Lenticular output is a standard function for the Z model. The Z model does not support 4,000dpi output.
